WHAT IS AN E-COMMERCE WEBSITE?

E-commerce stands for "electronic commerce". An e-commerce website is a website that allows two parties like businesses or individuals to buy and sell online. It usually includes a shopping cart, a checkout process, and the ability to make payments online.  E-commerce websites can be used to sell physical goods, digital products, or a combination of both.
